Newer Apple devices dropped the headphone jack, so this is what bridges the gap between your phone and a standard 3.5mm audio cable. It’s handy if you’re playing a ceremony playlist or a speech track off your own device. If your phone or laptop uses the newer USB-C port instead, grab the USB-C version.
