The Electro-Voice ZLX-15P is a powered speaker, meaning the amplifier is built in. One ZLX-15P is enough for a small indoor or outdoor gathering, a ceremony, or background music; a pair will cover a party or presentation for a crowd of around 150. It’s clear and loud for speech and everyday music, but it isn’t a deep-bass dance rig on its own – for a real dance floor or a larger room, add a second speaker or a subwoofer.
