The Behringer XR16 is a 16-input digital mixer controlled entirely from a tablet over Wi-Fi – so the mixing position can be anywhere in the room, including out in the audience where the sound actually is. Midas preamps give it genuinely good mic quality, and every setting saves as a scene you can recall instantly. It also records the whole show to USB. This is a step up from our analog Mackie mixers: more inputs, real processing, and no mixing console taking up a table. It’s for someone comfortable mixing from an app or pair it with an on-site technician.
