The Bose S1 Pro is a compact, Bluetooth-enabled, battery-powered speaker that allows you to take your sound anywhere. With two mic/line inputs, plus Bluetooth connectivity, the Bose S1 Pro is an ideal speaker for ceremonies, cocktail hour, coffee shop performances, small meetings, and more!

For most applications, PLAY rates the Bose L1 Compact for events with up to ~50 guests in attendance.

Important Notes:

The battery life for the Bose S1 Pro is up to 11 performance hours. The actual time varies by use.

Bose says the rechargeable battery will last for up to 11 hours of operation.

Do I need to charge it prior to my event?
We will deliver the Bose S1 Pro fully charged to your event. However, it’s not a bad idea to plug it in and trickle a charge to it until the start of the event.

Tony’s Take

Of all the battery-powered speakers on the market, the Bose S1 Pro is one of my favorites. It is extremely versatile in use – which makes it a great speaker option for us – but it is expandable, in the sense that multiple units can be daisy-chained together for larger events. Plus, with Bose, you know what you are getting – great sound from a very efficient box. This won’t crush large parties, but there are several applications such as ceremonies, cocktail parties, coffee shop performances, etc. where this would make for a great option.
