How It Works

Renting with PLAY couldn’t be easier. Here’s our entire audio-visual-lighting equipment rental process, in six steps:

STEP 1: BROWSE OUR GEAR

Click on over to our Rental Shop on this very website and browse our vast inventory of industry-standard equipment. See something you like? Add it to your rental cart.

Don’t speak pro audio? Need help with selecting the right equipment? Our staff of professional performers are ready to share our experiences with you and help you select the “right” gear for your event. Call us at 253.200.3452 or use the Live Chat feature on this site during our normal business hours.

STEP 2: SUBMIT YOUR RENTAL CART

Once you’ve built your Rental Cart, it’s time to submit it! We’ll review your list of equipment and within one business day, send over a formal order sheet based off the information you submitted. Of course, if we think you forgot an item, or we need to clarify something in regards to your event, we’ll be in touch so we can get it right the first time.

And now, a quick note on our rates. All rates listed on www.PLAYEventRentals.com are the one day rental rate. Which means, if you were to check out the equipment on say, a Saturday, it would be due back by Noon on Sunday to qualify for the one day rate. Need the equipment for longer than one day? No problem! When you submit your Rental Cart, please tell us what day you need to check out and check in the equipment, so we can adjust your rate accordingly. Additional days are priced at a discounted rate.

And if it so happens we are not the best quote you receive, we totally expect you to take full advantage of our Best Quote Guarantee policy.

STEP 3: CONFIRM YOUR ORDER

If everything looks good, please confirm your order by signing your Order Sheet before it’s expiration date. If you are new to PLAY, we only require you to complete three pieces of digital paperwork. If you are a returning customer, all you have to do is sign the order sheet we sent and your rental reservation is confirmed.

It doesn’t get any easier than that.

STEP 4: PICK-UP YOUR RENTAL

If you are checking out your rental from our office, you or your authorized representative simply needs to show up at our office, finalize payment and pick up your gear, which will be packed and ready to go. Of course, we’ll be more than willing to unpack and train you on how to operate any items you are renting. We want you to rent with confidence.

The entire check-out process is quick and easy. Get in, grab your gear, and get back on the road to your event!

STEP 5: PLAY

This one is all you. Of course, if you have any questions or need help, we’ll be available via our after-hours phone number to help you.

STEP 6: RETURN YOUR RENTAL

If returning your equipment to our office, simply pack it up the best you can – we don’t expect it to be perfect, but do wrap your cables and clean your items to avoid additional fees – and bring it back to our office prior to Noon on your return date. We’ll have you initial your order sheet and you’ll be off to enjoy the rest of your day.

NOTE: In the event you are unable to return your equipment by noon, you will be charged a Late Fee of the posted daily rate on our website for each item rented from us, per each day deemed late. Time is of the essence; please return your order on time. No exceptions will be granted. Noon means Noon.
